Looking through the Car Windows: Rear and Side Windows

Side and Rear WindowsThe rear and side windows are made of tampered or toughened glass. Tampering is said to boost the glass’ strength by as mush as 200% to 400%—Woah!—thus decreasing the probability of breakage. However, there’s a type of tampered glass that shatters into many pieces to lessen the body injury and car damage that may be incurred in case an accident occurs. There’s also a type of tampered glass that shatters into bits, but still manage to come out in linear (and not sharp) fragments.
